Bushland Botanical Bounty 51cm x 122cm Ready to Hang
Acrylic and Copper Leaf on Stretched Canvas
This painting is bursting with energy like a wild garden after a light rain shower! Fresh teal, apple green, turquoise and cool blues contract against smooth coffee colours with pops of blush, apricot and mustard in the delicate bottle brush flowers.
Naomi Crowther's well known Poppy series is revisited in this original artwork 'Bushland Botanical Bounty’ which is painted using a palette knife and thick impasto paint to create 3D raised petals on the blooms. Copper leaf catches the light as you walk past, adding both colour and conversation to your space.
Naomi Crowther's studio is on the Far South Coast of NSW. She takes cues from cliff walks and observing local gardens and bushland plus her own studio plantings, as inspiration for this artwork.
Full signature on front.
